Hi everyone! Finally making a first post though I've been following for a little while now.. this seem to be a very interesting forum indeed!

Anyways, not sure if this thread should be posted in the buy/sell section or not but if anyone knows of anywhere/one that I can find/build a nice metal suspension frame it would be most appreciated!

*New to BDSM and needs more practice with rope.. amongst other things* :)

Thanks!!

Me too...

I've rented a new space starting Nov 1 and am building a dedicated dungeon.

I have some dungeon furniture being built now but am looking for more.

Specifically a custom cage, so someone who works in metal/welding.

I'll trade sessions for work.

Best regards,
Mistress T

PS: It will be in the West End and I will rent it to other Dommes, to people for personal play, photo shoots, etc.

If it's just to secure the arms and feet,
a drill with screw-eyes makes it neat.

Try a bedframe on end for some bondage fun,
Just be sure to chain it up before you're done.

But if a subbie you want to dangle,
with throughbolts and beams you must surely tangle.

And to make your toy capitulate,
A winch or pulleys will intimadate.

But when those rafters do collapse
A shag or mat for safety perhaps

LOL!

Yes my dear, I'm afraid there's many a subbies to be dangled... off their little feet and into the air! Unfortunately the space is rented and has no beams so one must be creative..

Looking between two alternatives now:

1) Bamboo tripod.. pyramid shaped with base

or

2) Free standing marine-grade stainless steel ring frame.. kinda like the gymnastic kind but not so big.

*smiles* Any thoughts?

If you have the time and a little bit of imagination and handyman talent, the best BDSM supply store is Home Depot. I wonder if the cashier knew what I was planning on doing with the 100 feet of nylon rope, 1.5 inch dowels and eye-hook screws?

take a look at http://www.saroftreve.com/workshop/ .... he's got some excellent basic plans for suspension equipment that is free standing and looks relatively easy to construct. I particularly like his "box style" frame. Judging by the drawings and picture that he provides there....I can't see materials being much more than $150 for that c/w some solid colour stain....now you just need to find a local carpenter or handyish type to make it. I usually budget materials and labour about the same so expect it to come in around $300 completed.

And, I'm sure it could be decorated with pink highlights if not entirely so. I may even have a partial can of spray paint left come to think of it.....
