REST IN GLORIOUS, BLISSFUL, CELESTIAL PEACE TAMMY!..(Sweet Honey)

Hey ya'll. I used to live in the building next to Honey, though our encounters were usually too brief and too few, I always felt a common bond with her though. I'm not sure why as I am a self proclaimed hermit, maybe it was the mutual couch surfing friend we bounced back and forth between each other for the better part of 6 months,(felt almost like we were divorced parents sharing custody of a really big, hairy couch dwelling child), i don't know, it was probably a combination of the many, many parallels in our lives and the admiration and respect I had for the way she conducted her business. Basically I looked up to her. So I was Just wanting to pay my respects somehow. Honey was, as everyone has been saying, such a great person, so generous and she had such an innocent soul, a truly unpretentious, unaffected woman, and unfortunately that is a rarity these days...

So anyways, I have a had a dear friend in the hospital for the last few days, and have literally been there for like 3 days straight, so tonight when I finally took a some time away, I had to ask the stranger sitting next to me in the café what day it was and when he said "Wednesday", my heart sank, because I very much wanted to attend tonights memorial...I received the awful news earlier than most, but wasn't able to share it with anyone until all of her family was properly notified. So between having to keep it to myself for the first day or so and then attending to my sick friend, I haven't had the opportunity to really exchange thoughts (views, feelings, ideas, etc..) with anyone (anyone who understands anyway).

So the fact is that I missed that opportunity, and I just wanted a chance to extend my deepest sympathies, regrets and condolences to her family, and a huge hug for her nephews with whom I had the great opportunity to spend some time with this summer...I'm so sorry for your loss guys. xoxo

**REST IN GLORIOUS, BLISSFUL, CELESTIAL PEACE TAMMY***
Not how did she die, but how did she live?
Not what did she gain, but what did she give?
How many lives did she change while on this earth,
This is how we truly measure a persons worth...
Once you're gone, what lives on
is the reminiscence of each and every good deed.
It doesn't matter what her place of birth,
how much money she made
or what kind of life she chose to lead,
The question is...
Had she helped along those who were really in need?
Was she ever ready, with words of good cheer,
To bring back a smile, to banish a tear,

All these things made you very special.....
Honey, my dear...

So lets let her memory live on this way, and know that
IT IS NOT what did the story in the newspaper say,
Its how many people were sorry when she passed away....
