I don't get it. Watching the news it is said that EMS/Paramedics are not considered an essential service, however Fire and Police are. It doesn't make sense. How many people in this city don't have cars to get themselves or loved ones to the hospital in event of an accident?
Should they be allowed to strike? Whats your opinion on this whole situation?

It leaves me wondering. What about the elderly? What about car accidents? What about people who just don't have a car? What? Call a taxi and wait for 45 minutes?

NO debate needed, they are as important as Police or Fire, I've seen this first hand. I can understand them wanting more money, better working conditions etc. BUT, not at the cost of a life.
