Why does an orgasm feel so much better when you haven't masturbated in several weeks?

Whenever I go to a MP I make a special point to not masturbate or cum for several weeks before the visit to the MP in the hopes that when I do cum, it will feel that much better. I want to understand the reason for this phenomenon.

Is it the same reasoning as staving a lion? If you starve the lion he will be that much more eager to kill and eat?

Same reasoning as if you starve yourself for 30 days and then have a meal it tastes so much more better.

So how does the body mechanism work on this? You don't cum for several weeks and then when you do, it feels so much better? Is it because your body is so tense and is expecting it? And when you force yourself to not cum, the body becomes more tense. At some point all that tension has to be released?

Another question. When you finally cum after a few weeks of not masturbating, there's more semen coming out. Sometimes you squirt 4 or 5 times when normally only a small amount would come out. One time my cum lasted for 15 seconds.

Can the Nurse here answer all these fun questions? :)

Hi vanboy0

If you have not ejaculated for several weeks there will be a larger volume of semen in the testes. When you ejaculate the semen passes through the urethra with rhythmic contractions. These contractions are part of what creates pleasure that you feel when you cum. Contractions last longer when there is a bigger volume of semen.

Does this answer your question?

Where does mine come from?

I thought semen came from a gland down stream of the testes in the plumbing. This would explain why I have a reasonable amount of ejaculate despite a vasectomy that would cut off any semen from the testes.

If there is a downstream gland producing semen, do women also have such a gland that responsible for female ejaculate?

Please feel free to simply tell me to go do my research.

Hi treveller

Sorry about the misleading answer from the above question. I was looking at it and saying to myself that’s not correct. I should have just left it at “there will be a larger volume of semen”.

Semen is made up of a few different fluids from the prostate, seminal vesicles, Cowper’s glands and sperm. Sperm just makes up approximately 1% of semen. This is why you don’t really notice a reduction in semen after a vasectomy.

Thanks treveller for pointing out the above and if there is anything else that sounds incorrect let me know.

Currently they believe the Skene’s gland is responsible for female ejaculation. I have looked at a few research studies and let’s say there is still ongoing debate if female ejaculation actually exists.

Thanks for the info.

Starting with the gland names, I just spent the last half hour on Wikipedia. Lots of new info, for me at least. Thanks again.

i asked same question on a different forum and got ridiculed.

not to denigrate the original poster....but
one thing i asked about was how can people go several weeks or more without cumming? I would need to be in a coma or full body cast for that to happen. I am climbing the walls after 5 days usually. It is just about impossible to go more than 7 days. I am not young either (51ys old)

i was curious of what the process is that makes one horny and seek a release. is it a lack of a certain brain chemical that gets released at ..heh well release?
Is it stress hormones that build up that sex relieves?

That confuses me, how can some people debate female ejaculation when squirting exists I know some women may never do it in their life time but some women squirt the miniute something rubs up against there their crotch or when penetration of the vagina occurs...

Hi dr sean chronic

I agree with you as I have also met several woman that say they ejaculate.

I think the debate focuses around a couple of issues.

The first one is that there have not been enough studies conducted around this. One study conducted by an Austrian group allowed them to conclude that the “Data of the two women presented further underline the concept of the female prostate both as an organ itself and as the source of female ejaculation”. From a scientific point of view two people is not a big enough sample group. More research is needed, but this research will be tricky. For example what are you measuring? Are you only including woman who can ejaculate into the study etc

The other issue is around sexual politics. For many woman ejaculation has been just another move closer to looking at female sexuality through the male lens e.g. woman are suppose to orgasm from vaginal intercourse the way men do and now women are all suppose to be able to ejaculate. Studies have shown that only 30% (approx) of women can orgasm through vaginal intercourse. Most women orgasm from clitoral stimulation.

Just because there is not enough scientific evidence to say something does exist doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist, you do not need to wait for the scientist to say it is ok. Just enjoy your own personal experience and don’t get hung up on how other people think you should be performing or experiencing things.

It pisses me off that most women can only cum through clit stimulation. It doesnt make any sense.

What is the point of a female orgasm? Does it have a purpose?

It seems like a flaw in evolution. One would think that two people could just have conventional sex and have orgasms around the same time.

Hi Wess

Shere Hite did a nationwide study of female sexuality in the USA. She found out some great information about female sexuality and has some ideas about the female orgasm.

She says that there are many theories out there of why woman have orgasms.

1. The female orgasm helps “suck” the sperm up into the uterus. The have been able to do a few studies to check if this does work and they have concluded that it is doubtful that the female orgasm will do this.

2. Another theory is that female orgasmic contractions are for the purpose of further insuring male orgasm by gripping the penis.

3. People have suggested that the female orgasm is to provide arousal and an interest in woman having sex.

4. Or perhaps the female orgasm is just a release mechanism for the body, to release all kinds of tension in the body.

5. Or maybe there is no other reason for the existence of the female orgasm other than pleasure.

There seems like there is a lot of pressure on woman to have orgasms during intercourse and if they don’t, that something is wrong with them. Research has shown that most woman require different stimulation than what is given by penile/vaginal sex.

I would just suggest when in doubt ask.
