Just got over a major sore throat and turned out to be bacteria in nature which I had to take antibiotics. The question I have is If I had oral sex with my girlfriend performing daty on her could I leave bacteria their and re-infect my throat next time we had oral sex.

Hi Rob:

The most common cause of bacterial infections in the throat is Group A streptococcus. It is unusual for this bacteria to be in the vagina, but very common for this bacteria to be in the throat.

You would have a higher chance of catching Strep from kissing.

The other bacterial infection that can occur in both the throat and the genitals is gonorrhea. Gonorrhea can be transmitted by a BBBJ. It is much less likely to be transmitted by DATY.
