I have arrived!
Ok so this is a rather sensitive subject.... I have experienced a few times where I had a rather difficult time to get it up... if you know what I mean. Just wondering if any of you other hobbists have ever experienced that and what if anything you have done to combat this rather annoying and embarassing problem. Can anyone give any reports on how well Viagra works and whether is helps at all with stamina. I know this is not something us guys like to talk about but hey, I would think that its maybe a bit more common of a problem then we let on... Comments anyone?

Thanks for the replies so far. I lead a fairly stress filled life and have wondered if that did not have some effect on performance. Being that this is a pretty annonymous forum, I didn't think that most would have too much of a problem discussing it. Any ideas, experiences or comments are appreciated.

Regards,
Guy

hey guy4, any drug that warns you about the dangers of an erection lasting longer than four hours gets my vote! i never poon without the blue steel, best recreational drug since lsd :) i used to get it through the mail from the u.s. but it's cheaper just to go to a doctor here. get 100 mg tabs and cut it half, 50 will give you lots of pleasure i'm sure. cheaper that way. i think it affects everyone a bit differently, but sounds to me like you'd love it. best to take on an empty stomach, intensifies the effect, and in my case i can actually feel a rush after about 20 minutes, have fun.

Guy4fun..

hope you don`t mind my .02 cents..anyway here is a link to search results in the lounge if you would like more info..Viagra threads .. I have been on it for a while myself..it does effect everyone differently so I would go to a doctor first..and he can also give you a sample pack with some free 50mg samples and a video.. it does not automatically give you an erection as it just helps with blood flow and you still have to be stimulated but it is very effective IMHO..hope this helps..good luck ;)

A strong cuppa joe with a liberal dose of sugar arouses my sleeping giant! Also, eating some food a couple of hours before should get the blood flowing where it should be.

Thanks for the input guys... not exactly sure what the "blue steel" or am I totally naive, naiveguy? LOL I guess I will just have to give V a go and see how it works for me.

I won't be touching that stuff for a long (no pun intended) time. Would hate to be on it and have a side-effect discovered, like your schlong falling off.

another .02 cents..

well, I've been on viagra for 4 years now and thankfully to date have never suffered from any side effects..but just because I haven't doesn't mean there aren't any..I do know of others who have ..ie head aches etc and there are others that can be more serious so becarefull ...there are various different avenues as have already been mentioned..proper diet, excersize, natural remedies...all this board can really do for you is give some suggestions and ideas and some insights to others experience..but ultimately, especially when dealing with prescriptions you should talk with your doctor about it..there are a couple new drugs coming out..Levitra (only in the states at the moment) and another one which the name of seems to be escaping me at the moment..getting old I guess..lol..I may be switching to the second as it is suppose to be better...but again you should decide what's best for you and take it from there..some don't want or need it but some of us just need a little help..that's what choice is all about...just another opinion for you to consider, hope it helps..;)

I would just like to say that decisions regarding one's health, whether it be cancer, diabetes, or erectile dysfunction, should be based on fact, reason, and expertise. Not on paranoia and ignorance.

I certainly do not claim to be as much of an expert on Viagra as some members of this board claim to be. But I sincerely urge anybody out there that feels they may have a problem in this area to seek medical attention from their family doctor. Erectile dysfunction could be a symptom of a more serious medical condition that requires immediate attention. Viagra may or may not help, depending on your situation. Perhaps another treatment option would be better suited for you. But your doctor would certainly be able to give you expert advise on this. He/she will also be able to discuss the potential side effects. Hey, I'm big enough to admit that I'm potentially wrong. Maybe your doctor really will tell you that taking Viagra will cause your schlong to fall off. And by all means, if anybody hears that from their real doctor with a real medical degree, please post it here. I will eat my crow pie.

Methinks it won't be me that is eating crow anytime soon.

PS,

Yes, throughout the history of time, doctors have been wrong, and have promoted a drug that later turned out to be more harmful than good. They have also promoted hundreds of thousands of drugs that have improved people's quality of life substantially, with little or no side effects.

It is like air travel. Some people are ignorant and paranoid of it because when a plane crashes it makes front page news. The MILLIONS of successful flights that happened between that plane crash, and the one before it do not make the news. The medical community only makes the news when they make an extremely rare mistake. They do not make the news for the Billions of prescriptions they write that do no harm, whatsoever.

At the end of the day, I'd rather place my health in the hands of a trained professional, that is going to be correct 99.999999% of the time, rather than someone that bases their medical opinions on some scary movie they just watched, or 30 year old newspaper articles on mistakes that doctors made.

Just my 2 cents.
