Baby is sent through X-ray machine at LAX

A woman going through security at Los Angeles International Airport put her month-old grandson into a plastic bin intended for carry-on items and slid it into an X-ray machine. A screener watching the machine's monitor immediately noticed the outline of a baby and pulled the bin backward on the conveyor belt. The infant was taken to Centinela Hospital, where doctors determined that he had not received a dangerous dose of radiation

Of course, their theory does fly in the face of the recent findings that suggest that even a single head CT on an infant may have long term negative consequences. The results of which have been to completely change the pattern of practice with infants to do anything and everything to avoid x-ray exposure to their brains..

But.. hey, I'm sure those media guys know what they are talking about...

Maybe those Docs didn't go to medical school in Grenada
