My parents had a dinner party to attend tonight so asked if I would come over to their house and hand out treats, watch the place for the evening.
My mom has always been the type to go all out on holidays, Xmas, Easter etc etc and Halloween.
This year in a huge black plastic cauldrun she had clear orange cellophane bags, filled with chocolate bars, candies and tied shut with orange/black ribbons which were loooped through little black plastic cats..... I was instructed to hand out one bag to each trickster.
In a large plastic pumpkin bowl she had glow sticks with fasteners that turned them into bracelets after being activated and also glow rings, you crack the tube and slide it into the ring.
Much to my delight! ...I was mobbed with TEENAGE girls ringing the bell one after the other asking if this is the house handing out the cute candy bags and the COOL glow bracelets and matching rings... damn some of them were HOT!
Super cute girls most of which were made up with nothing more than kitty cat face make-up, tight jeans and little bomber style jackets or hoodies.
If it hadnt interupted my viewing of the Canucks game it would have been a perfect evening with the parade of hotties looking for glow jewelry and me as the hero at the house that was handing it out LOL!
My mom leaves a pad of paper and pen at front door to record how many kids came so she can judge for next years treat shopping.
At 10pm I shut things down after 150 kids!
My mom will have to go some to top the reaction to her treats this year, the girls were squeeling and saying thank you! over and over
I stood there a little giddy and saying "you're welcome, happy halloween"
