What's the first thing you look at...

I like Hummers!

what model year it is and how many miles on the odometer and then make sure there's no slippage in the ball joints

1) paint job - especially if it's a pretty wet nail polish-like finish...
2) rims - especially how well they match or suit the car

I also critique the ugly gap between the tire and the car (is that called a tire well? - I dunno)

Why do they design cars like that? - so ugly.

I know that the suv/truck types need the suspension but otherwise on those sedans and coupes, it just looks like a huge esthetic design oversight

If the person driving it suits the car.

1) I always notice the driver first (if male go to #3)

2) Then the driver's tits

3) Rims & Wheels

4) Sound (love flowmasters)

even lamer is an old balding dude in a bright red mustang convertable with chrome rims.

I work with one, the guy is 58 yrs old, does the comb over, wears STRETCH bluejeans that are the weirdest fucking color not like any jeans I have ever owned,,,,,, and a hockey jersey that looks like a dress (he is 5'6") he must be wearing an X-large

I hate when a guy (or girl) does up a car to look really clean , and then drops 450 bucks on a noisy exhaust and then bolts it to a Corolla with an auto trans

I check out garbage trucks to see if they cater to whitehouse dinners

If I'm shopping for a new car it engine, tranny, suspension first, you can make your car all pimped out but underneath is of most importance.
