Okay, we've heard about how shitty BP is.

We've heard about how to market cheese.

Now let's hear about where to find the best burger in Edmonton.

Mmmm that is a tough one. Excluding all the fastfood places, I would have to go with Red Robin's from my experiences. I haven't tried many restraunts for burgers though. Probably a lot better out there than Red Robin's.

David's on Argyll Road is good too. Had a Buffalo Burger there one time. Very delicious.

E-Town
The Garage. It's in downtown E-town on 106 St, between A&B Sound and The Metro.

Anyone been to DeLux on 142 St? It's an upscale burger joint by the same folks who run the Lux Steakhouse.

Deluxe Burger ...

is more a great Lounge than a Great Burger Bar. A Burger and fries are $15 and quite ordinary.

I have not really found a place here in Edmonton who makes great burgers. However, if you are ever in Calgary, you have to visit Pete's Drivein on 16 Avenue. They have the best burgers and they have great milk shakes;) :p  :)

I have been there. They are awesome. They have something like 25-30 different flavour of milkshakes. Just to experiement, I got a milkshake with ALL the flavours in it. Just to say, it tasted rather.....intresting.

Peter's Drive In has the best shakes.
Do not order a burger and a large fries and expect to eat it all. Large fries will feed 4 people.

Damn time for a shake run. :D

I have tried a cheese burger at Burger Baron - it was extremely greasy:eek: . I have also tasted a cheese burger at Red Robin and it was Okay, nothing special about it:p .
However, try a cheese burger at Pete's Drive-In in Calgary and you definitely notice a different in taste, much better than Burger Baron or Red Robin;) .

The garage makes the best burgers and wings!! I think they've also been rated #1 in the See mag.

Hmmm, I've been to Pete's on 16 and wasn't impressed... neither with the burger nor the shake :( It certainly LOOKED good as I passed by it every day... but then again, I'm from Vancouver and we have ALOT of GREAT burger places out here... so perhaps I've been a tad spoiled.

Now, the Smugglers Inn is probably the best place to snag a prime rib steak IMHO... that was mouth watering good. Another place near Petes, the sports bar at the Savory Lodge (ugh), serves a pretty mean steak sandwich during the Stampede... maybe not special by Calgary standards, but it was better than some fancy restraunts I've been to out here for steak...

I guess I should not be surprised to see a negative review about Pete's DriveIn from a person from Vancouver:confused::rolleyes: . What do they know about good Alberta beef:rolleyes: ;)

Dude, I was looking forward to it when I had it.... but was unpleasantly suprised. Darned thing tasted better than mcdonalds, wendy's and wally's, I'll give you that, but I've had PLENTY better burgers over this way.
