I'm pumped up for the upcoming NFL season, looking forward to going down to Qwest Field this year especially when the NY Giants return to Seattle in September. I'm giving my predictions with the division winners with thier record and SuperBowl pic.

2nd Washington Redskins (11-5) 2nd Chicago Bears (9-7)
3rd Dallas Cowboys (9-7) 3rd Minnesota Vikings (8-8)
4th Philadelphia Eagles (7-9) 4th Detroit Lions (3-13)

NFC South NFC West

1st Carolina Panthers (12-4) 1st Seattle Seahawks (12-4)
2nd Tampa Bay Buccaneers (10-6) 2nd Arizona Cardinals (8-8)
3rd Atlanta Falcons (8-8) 3rd St. Louis Rams (5-11)

American Football Conference (AFC)

AFC East AFC North

1st New England Patriots (11-5) 1st Baltimore Ravens (14-2)
2nd Miami Dolphins (10-6) 2nd Pittsburgh Steelers (11-5)
3rd Buffalo Bills (5-11) 3rd Cincinnati Bengals (10-6)
4th New York Jets (3-13) 4th Cleveland Browns (4-12)

AFC South AFC West

1st Indianapolis Colts (13-3) 1st Kansas City Chiefs (12-4)
2nd Jacksonville Jaguars (9-7) 2nd Oakland Raiders (13-3)
3rd Tennessee Titans (6-12) 3rd Denver Broncos (11-5)
4th Houston Texans (2-12) 4th San Diego Chargers (8-8)

AFC Wild Card Game NFC Wild Card Game

Pittsburgh over Kansas City New York Giants over Chicago
New England over Oakland Tampa Bay over Wasington

AFC Divisional Playoff NFC Divisional Playoff
Baltimore over Pittsburgh Seattle over Tampa Bay
New England over Indianapolis New York Giants over Carolina

AFC Championship NFC Championship
Baltimore over New England Seattle over New York Giants

SuperBowl XLI in Miami, Florida

Seattle Seahawks over Baltimore Ravens 30 - 17
SuperBowl MVP: Matt Hasselbeck

Now I'll probably get all my picks wrong! Should be a good season though.
Sorry for making it look confusing somthing's wrong with moving everything over.

Scott,

Overall decent picks but obvious that you are a G-Men/Seahawks homer :D (j/k)

Without looking at the schedules and see who plays who, I will have to disagree with your projected records for the Ravens and Raiders. Ravens s/b better but McNair will not make them 14-2 and I don't see any way the Raiders will win games. IMO there are not even a .500 team.
Just curious you have the Raiders at 13-3 finishing 2nd behind KC at 12-4?? Did you get them mixed up?

PS
Thanks for the post. It reminded me to order NFL Sunday Ticket!! :D

I don't follow the NFL very closely, so I can't comment on the projected orders of finish.

However, your predictions are mathematically impossible. If you add the wins and subtract the losses for the entire league, they have to come to a net of zero. Your predictions show a net of +4 for the NFC and +28 for the AFC, for an overall net of +32.

Back to the drawing board!

I've got season tix. I think Baltimore with Steve McNair finally has an offence with a great defence. I do like their chances to make it far. Is anybody out there going to any games this year?
