Does anyone know why WWE has released Kurt Angle from their contract?

Due to personal issues, Kurt Angle has been granted an early release from his contract. WWE looks forward to establishing a new relationship with Kurt in the near future.

What does that exactly mean or in other words why was Angle granted an early release. What happened between the two parties? Angle was a 6 time world champ and a very good performer in the ring. Probably one of the best next to Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair in his prime.

just a guess but probably kurt has family concerns to take care of. it doesnt sound like there was a falling out between wwe and kurt, he just needs some time away.

Big loss for World Wrestling Entertainment, Kurt was by far the best worker the WWE has had in years. He is and by far is the best wrestler they had on their roster. It will be intresting to see if TNA comes calling.

my 2 cents worth

angle has a history of working injured but not letting on just how injured he is. i heard he still has neck problems and i think back problems now too, so maybe vinnie mac let him go so he wouldnt get sued if he kept wrestling??

does anyone think angle will pop up in TNA?

Angle would be great in TNA if you can stay healthy. Scott "Big Poppa Pump" Steiner has a foot injury he's still dealing with and his performance in the ring isn't nearly what is use to be.

Maybe it was for the better and in 3 or 4 years he can come back when his body and mind are energized again. There are a few pure technical wrestlers still left such as Chris Benoit, Shelton Benjamin and Johnny Nitro.

Has anyone seen Chris Masters since he got off steroids? He's lost at least 30 pounds and I don't think that "masterlock" gimmick will be as effective.

Shocking New Pic Of Chris Masters Off Steroids
"The Masterpiece" Chris Masters has been off television for several weeks as a result of a failed "Wellness" drug test. It was reported that Masters tested positive for muscle-enhancing drugs, rumored to be anabolic steroids.

Chris Masters made his return to the ring at a television taping for WWE's developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling on August 17.

After sitting out his supsension and getting off the performance enhancing drugs, Masters' appearance has changed drastically - to the point where it would be impossible to keep his "Masterpiece" gimmick.

On another note, one of the wrestling sites said Trish Stratus would be quitting WWE in September.

And totally off-topic, why doesn't the crowd call him "King Booger"? Booker turns into Booger so easily and I can't be the only one frozen in my adolescence.:D

It will be sad to see Trish Stratus gone. She's still good looking and a very good wrestler as well.
