It is summer time and mosquitos are biting. I know that HIV practically can not get you from the mosquito bite, but if I have some bite marks on my skin (arms, fingers, legs, face, etc.), which are at various stages of healing. Some bite marks are almost healed, some may have a small scabb that is still not 100% healed, and some may have a skin irritation (from scraching)
Should I be concerned in a same way as if I have a cut to a digit?

You are correct in saying that HIV is not passed by mosquito.

Having broken skin could let HIV virus into your body, but you would need to have that skin come in contact with HIV. The only bodily fluids in the woman that can transmit HIV are blood, vaginal fluid and breast milk.

The HIV dies very quickly when outside of the body and you would need the above fluids to get on the skin. I would not be concerned unless you are getting large quantities of blood on your arms or legs, or like in the previous post had a cut on a finger and then placed it in the vagina.
