Not really that surprising. They busted their asses all season, and all playoffs and they are continuing to show the Hockey Community that they are hungrier than ever to get their hands on that Cup!! Go Oilers!!

I don't even know why Vancouver fans bother. Year after year you hear Vancouverites say how great the Canucks are, how they're gonna make it to the playoffs, etc. But year after year they are sorely disappointed. It's a joke. When is Vancouver going to wake up and realise the Canucks suck?

What can you see in Edmonton and Calgary that Vancouver does not have? For the Canucks to compete at this level they'll need a far grittier defence, and some scorers among their top six forwards with a reputation for paying the price. Only Todd Bertuzzi brings both skill and a physical presence among the Canucks top six forwards, but let's face it: his game is pathetically inconsistent. And as for a third line that can do what Mike Peca's line does for Edmonton -- shut down an opponent's No. 1 line, while chipping in with timely goals on a nightly basis -- Matt Cooke and Ryan Kesler have some maturing to do before the Canucks can check that box off.

Don't worry peoples, the Canucks reach the Stanley Cup finals once every 12 years or so and they're due for another one soon.
