Blood in the ejaculate (cum) is known as Hematospermia. It is not an uncommon reason why people come to our clinic for a checkup.

I have included a link to a good article.

We highly recommend that anyone who has this happen goes for a check up. Your family doctor may wish to refer you to an urologist (a doctor who specializes in treating problems of the urinary tract in men and women, and of the genital tract in men.) as it can be a possible sign for more serious issues (e.g. cancer)

We find that the majority of cases that we see end up being a transient events with no real significance, I have heard it explained as a “nosebleed” from the penis.

One of the biggest issues we find is that due to embarrassment people will not go to the doctor and if it happens infrequently they will put it out of their mind e.g. “if I just wait long enough it will go away”.

Just keep in mind that it is not related to “pooning” and that the physician will not think that anything is happening because you show up with this and that if it is something serious it is better to have it evaluated sooner rather than later.

If you do not want to see your family doctor you could always go to an STD (sexually transmitted disease) clinic or see a different doctor.
