I swong by my local clinic for my regular testing. By the time I talked to a doc, and then made my way to a lab to deposit some fluid, it took 2 hours.

There has to be a faster way.

Can I by pass seeing the doctor?

Are there better clinics then others? Any one have service and attitude reviews of clinics?

The Free STD Clinic @ General Hospital ...

is normally quite quick. I find if you have an appointment, the entire process, once you have already been registered is no longer than 45 minutes.

The wait for full results is about one week and you are encouraged to have the Hep B immunization for free.

That sounds a little better than what you are experiencing.

I remember the first time I went to get tested, the doctor said that the swab test must have been invented by a woman. There's no way a man would have come up with that kind of test.
The STD clinic in Calgary is a good place to go if you don't want to get your regular doctor involved in the process. They used to have a hot nurse in her twenties administering the test. I was thinking under different circumstances such an experience would be quite pleasureable. It's hard to get turned on though when you're getting the swab.:D
