Hi.

Coming into town and was wondering which hotel is good for sp's, I would like it to be a little upscale....

Thanks

Works for me

Holiday Inn Downtown - corner of Howe and Helcken....reasonable rates, close to most places and SP accessable.

I think Hotel Vancouver is probably a good bet if you want up-scale ones. Everything is good with this hotel except that the bath-tub is a little small and the number appear at your monthly credit card bill is a little too big. I personally prefer Pan Pacific at the moment, if you book with american express, you get 50% off. The downside of Pan pacific is that there is a construction site on the habour side, so it gets noisy in the morning. I haven't had a chance to stay at the westin, but i heard its really quiet and up-scale. You may want to look it up if it is one of your concerns. As for SP preferance, I think as long as its a 4-5 star hotel, they wont have any complaints. Make sure they have access to your room though, some hotels(executive floors) need a room key before you can ride the elavator.

I stayed there once...and once only. The hotel itself wasn't too bad, but the valet parking seemed to enjoy using my vehicle at their leisure during my stay. The extra 35kms on my odometre kind of gave them away. That and the stereo cranked to a station I don't listen to.

Fuckers!

from my experience the hotel vancouver has nazi's for security.....a couple of times they've either blocked an SP from coming up to see me or have called ahead to ask if this "visitor" was in deed coming to see me
granted this has both happened after 11:00pm but I still find it very annoying since the SP's were dressed VERY conservative
Yeah, I guess they are not exactly SP friendly. But I personally wouldn't mind the tighten security. Probably more of a hassle to the girls.
