I was in Winnipeg today and was considering going to an MP. I was told that was not a good idea and they are "undergoing a sting operation and have surveillance cameras". This was told to me by someone at an outcall service.

Is this just competitive tactics or is this actually happening?

NO, not inside the MP. Several times per year, WPD set up shop nearby a MP to be on the lookout for suspects.

It appears that criminals sometimes frequent MP's ... seems to me like a great idea. If you're not wanted by the law, you're not at risk.

It is a "legal activity" to own and operate a MP in Winnipeg. They all have an annual licence.

I was once going into a MP while the police were busting the joint in WPG. The cop asked me if I worked there and then told me to beat it they aren't interested in clients.

I remember when you posted about it on Canbest. It was at 222 Sherbrook. I had been staying away from there because I feared what actually happened.
