This one was sooo smooth. Called ahead & booked a week in advance for a 90 minute appointment in Yaletown. I believe he told me he was late 20s early 30s and looking for his Mrs. Robinson roleplay. Sounded pleasant, polite, and gave a VERY unusual first name, that I immediately saved in my phone. At 7:36 yesterday morning, I sent a very nondescript email requesting a confirmation phone call. Got no response at all when I followed up, either. I realise that shit happens; LIFE happens. I had my bloody car towed from a rush hour lane yesterday; had I had an appointment booked back at home in Surrey, I would have had to put on my big girl panties & notified the cient I'd been unavoidable delays. All it takes really, is one text that says "Sorry...I can't make it." When that doesn't happen when there's no confirmation, I have no choice but to assume that the booking was spurious; made simply to waste my time, ensure I am aways from home & out of pocket SIGNIFICANTLY, and that makes me wonder...

Phone number is 604-***4102. Ladies can feel free to text or PM for the name and the missing digits.

yeah I always get fooled and tricked with smooth sociopathic phone voices and acting, so its useless to use phone voice for screening for me

Well I admit, it threw me off my game so significantly i parked my car in a rush hour lane on Seymour Street and when I came back at 3:45 to discover my car had been towed, it really put the whipped cream & cherry on the turd sundae the day turned out to be as opposed to the fun trip into the city it started as.

It should be common courtesy to give you a heads up if things change and someone can't make it. It's the polite thing to do.

I'm guilty myself, not of being a no show, but of potentially wasting someone's time. It wasn't intentional, but I didn't anticipate how long I'd need to get my ducks lined up in a row. Shouldn't contact someone unless you can guarantee you'll be able to follow through (sorry Lady Via).

Hopefully Erica, you'll have a better rest of the week. Same for the rest of you ladies. You deserve more respect than you get.

Ya if it's legit can't make it ... totally different scenario .... hard to fathom but there seems to be a lot of guys out there that seem to get some sort of thrill talking with, booking with then fucking with. You learn to spot them after a while ... If I feel iffy about an appointment I tell callers who want the same time slot to call back because I have an iffy appointment and usually can fill it anyways. It's so nice to have a friend in the business who we trade WOT/NO SHOW's and boundary pushers and lowballers numbers with so we don't waste our time.

Yes I agree...invaluable to have someone you can check those numbers with!

Like I said...I totally get it that shit happens, guys. Really...but c'mon! Man up and send the 'sorry can't make it" text.

Sense & Courtesy...wish both were still 'common' but the longer I try to practice both, the more rare I find them!!! Thanks for the good wishes OR!

During a duo day, I had a young guy call and book an appointment. I can't remember what I had him saved as .. but something like "calls talks never books" ... anyways I think he called both our numbers and somehow got booked. A couple of minutes AFTER he was supposed to show we sent him a text informing him his number was saved and now blocked. He answered back in a third person persona stating he had just witnessed a pedestrian who had been hit by a car and had found this (the one we had just texted) phone on the ground. He said he didn't know who's phone it was and would follow the ambulance to the hospital and try and return it. I told him it was "calls talks never books now WOT/NO SHOW's phone" he went on and on about he had no idea what I was talking about all the while Mel and I are laughing hysterically at this sillyness. A couple of months later Mel tells me he blowing up her phone and she ignores. Few days or weeks later, he contacts me. I straight up tell him to eff off ... he texts back that he just got the number he's new in town ... ok what do you think the odds of that are ??? ... BAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA !

OHMYGOD

This has happened to me too..."My number's saved in your phone? Weird...I just got this phone!" Also...

Showed up for a late night 2 hour out call in PoCo. At the very last minute, I got a really weird convoluted explanation about how his sister had JUST been in a serious car accident with injuries, so he couldn't make it, so he was sending a friend over to ensure my time wasn't wasted...and then 'the friend' purports not to know what my rate is, what the arrangement is, or anything about any of the conversations I'd had with his "buddy", but he is willing to offer me SOMETHING to compensate me for my wasted night. However, since he is a 'fitness model' (fit for WHAT? He was shorter than me, flabby as me, and maybe hairier than me...) and 'not used to paying for it' (....) he's not willing to pay my actual rate. At that point it was obviously time to piss on the fire and call the dog! At least 2 hours wasted time...

Ya it's unfortunate for the guys that really would benefit from outcalls but I just won't put myself in that situation.
yeah me too...I just couldn't find the will to get up and go meet a complete stranger like that, done it before when I had no place of my own...but now to me it just seems like a very risky and careless, desperate, and naive thing to do, esp when you've got your own incall...but some people don't really mind gambling with their time and taking risks. hmm to each their own.

Not everyone is able to travel, however. I have done, and will continue to do, out calls to residences for gentlemen who give me a board handle, or a verifiable name, or a provider reference that want out call due to physical limitations/disabilities, for example. Is there an element of risk? Sure. For a disabled individual, letting an SP into their home is a risk too! He doesn't know who might show up, and who she might have with her! There's an element of risk every time you put your feet on the floor every morning, isn't there? There are inherent risks involved with ANY client interaction (or any HUMAN interaction, for that matter) whether it's in my in call, his hotel, or in a parking lot somewhere (God forbid...) It's all about calculated risk, though, isn't it? That is why I hedge my bets...by not even discussing the possibility of an out call if I don't get a reference or handle. I've been asked half a dozen times this past few months to provide references to other providers, and I'm always happy to do it! As for doing out calls at hotels, well...who doesn't like hotel room sex? It's a chance to step outside the ordinary...some of my most memorable experiences in this industry have been out calls...and some of my ATF clients are guys who I would never have met had I not been willing to take the risk that their board, phone and email persona is someone I'm willing to take a chance on. So, I'll keep offering them to people that deserve them!

Much love all...

Ms E.

sorry i forgot to say no offense at all to anyone who does and totally understand where youre coming from!!! Of course and some also like the adrenalin rush and its an outing as well :) as long as you do it right like you said, screening properly and whatnot.

I feel like the complete random requests I get, I'd never consider it now...and also i'm incredibly LAZY and hate leaving my spot, I like to be stationary...
