I got a call a couple days ago from him asking if I allow e-transfer, it’s not something I normally do but have in the past with no problems. He said his wife looks for cash withdraws and therefor can’t go to the bank and take money out (I realize now, that should have been my first red flag). When he got there he acted like he was super nervous as he has never done this before (I call BS) I assured him everything was safe and we were going to have a good time. We sat down and started the e-transfer right away so i figured this is something he normally does., he asked me email, secret question, etc. and even said he included a 60 tip for the hassle.. Now I know it can take up to a half hour to receive the email but since he booked for the hour, I figure there was a enough time. He basically finished after 5 min then started to get dressed. I asked what the rush was and he just got here and I still hadn't received the email. He said he wanted a smoke but it was down in his car and offered that I come with him until I received the transfer, I agreed. (He has a black escalade btw)
When we got to the car he was complaining that his wife was calling but sat with me to wait for this “email”. He asked every second if I had gotten it, but nothing came in. After a couple mins he excused himself to call his wife, then came back and said his grandma was in the hospital and he had to leave right now. I knew right there he never sent it. I asked over and over again for him to show me the confirmation email and he refused. He kept saying “don’t worry, don’t worry” and “ I sent it”. I made the mistake of believing him, which is something I’ll never do again. I completely understand it was my fault for believing in the good in people. Needless to say, I got played.
I just dont want him to get away with this again with anyone else.. PM me for his name and number
