Pretty much what the title says. Seemed normal, maybe a little awkward. Confirmed, thanked me for the address and said he'd see me at 1. Also booked for 2 hours, which which makes it extra shit-sandwichy. PM for the email address.

Hope that asshole gets what he deserves! There's nothing I detest more then having someone know what I do and where I live and not show up.
No kidding, its f@ckin creepy. This is why I will never work independently out of a house/townhouse or any walkup building without a secured door system. Also, I never give clients the unit number until after they have buzzed me in my unit.

There should be a last minute cancellation list for clients in good standing - you'd have to make it a discreet app in disguise like "Harry's 1 hr dry cleaning service" alert: come and get it by 2:00 pm lol

And what does he deserve?
Maybe he can drive across town through shit traffic and wait to confirm an address. Then he can call and wait...and call and wait...and wait....still waiting......zzzzz.....until finally he just gives up and goes home.
Hold on! He probably has at least a few times already!
Just saying....:)

I know an SP that practices, a bit of a hassle, but any new clients, on the day of appt, before they get address, she meets them somewhere close in public. Then if all is good, leads them to her incall.

what? Your comment just reverses the scenario:rolleyes: He confirmed appointment then got address, then pulled a no show. What he deserves is to be labelled a WOT just like we do for sp's that waste our time. Nuff said. Just saying.......:)

Way to reinvent hise etory and retell the story. Next thing you'll be saying is Hitler was a nice guy and this nation thing was just a misunderstanding.... Seriously WTF are you going on about? He booked her for a 2 hour appointment said he was on his way, got her contact address then pulled a no show.
Hitler? Really? WTF are YOU on about.
My simple point was it works both ways. What does he "deserve"- to be lit on fire? Maybe something came up and he's such an inconsiderate bastard he doesn't care to call her. As Vitargo said, label him a WOT and move on.
Yeah, he pulled a no show. Shit happens.
Yeah, many of us have been stood up as well. Shit happens.
My comment was in response to "I hope he gets what he deserves", not the deed itself.
Is that so tough to figure out when I've replied with the quote?
Lighten the fuck up, grumpy. Or is it just a slow day for you?

I'm sorry to hear that happened to you. It seems to be a bit of an epidemic everywhere right now...I have started to give new clients the nearest major intersection & asking me to call me from there a few minutes before the appointment. THEN I give the exact address. When I relocate at the end of this month, I'll put the same routine into practice. It's my home, and if some whacko shows up looking for something there without an invitation or appointment, he will find the experience unpleasant.

Get what he deserves as Angela states. What do you suppose she means? You seem to think set on fire or maybe beat up by a roving gang of Perb vigilantes. Maybe arrested by police under the communication section of bill C 36. Ohhh okay?

Hmmmm i'm quite certain she meant that his name and contact info gets out to the ladies. So in future it makes it much more difficult for him to book time and waste the time of the ladies as he's done here. Not a phone call with an apology or saying he can't make it. He Just got her address and fucked off.

So you're elaborate little story of time wasted from the Pooners side makes it all up for it. I guess? Or is that what you feel his penance should be? Yes it has happened to many of us with flakes, that is not the case here. Cameron is solid Gold, a rock solid provider.

I used the Hitler analogy to prove a point. Rewriting history casts things in intentional viewpoints of the author. If enough idiots believe it then it becomes the new history. Regardless of it being in response to Angela comment.

With losers and flakes. It's simple we write them off, write a review that doesn't cast them in a great light and move on. Just as the ladies do to guys who are flakes and lovers.
I have no idea what AA meant with her comment. But I'm sure it wasn't just getting his name etc. around to the other ladies.
Also, definitely not advocating lighting the guy up- you can't determine the obvious sarcasm? Roving bands of vigilante Perbites too? Great imagination there BJ. I know you like to research other member's posting history- check mine and see my viewpoints on this very subject with certain posts in the neighbourhood watch section.
I'm not sure what his penance should be, if any. Don't really care either, since you're asking.
I'll take your word that Cameron is solid gold and not a flake. Yeah, Mr. No-Show scooped her info and then nary a word after that. BS behavior and inconsiderate for sure. Not the first time and definitely not the last time that's gonna happen. And I don't condone it on any level.
But apples and oranges, big guy.
My "elaborate little story" was strictly tongue in cheek. You've been around the block enough to figure that- as have most other members on here I'm quite sure.
If you don't like my viewpoint or humour just say so. The Hitler reference and insinuating I'm re-writing the history of Cameron's event and trying to change people's points of view is a bit much and way over the top. Like I said, must have been a slow day for ya, Elmer. There are no wabbits here.
Happy huntin' there gunner. :)
