Hello guys and girls if there are any reading this?? I hear from alot of guys living here along with tourists, co-workers,etc. that the women in Vancouver suck? True or false? I love living here, I was born and raised here but of late I somehow tend to agree. So my question to you guys out there is do the women in this city really suck? Where do you guys go to meet hotties? I find that the majority of the babes in the city are already involved with somebody. How do you guys feel? I've read alot of books on trying to pick up chicks and seduction but seems when I try using the techniques, no luck. Feedback please guys and girls?

Vancouver Women...

Don't panic. There's lot's of wonderful women in this city. And they are looking to meet wonderful guys. Just make a point of being one.

The doors will open. It's give and take. And it's not always about money. I'm no expert, but the simple things count. Flowers are nice. Telling them how nice they look. Here's a good line..."I like you".

When was the last time you told your best friend that you liked them? It's not going to kill you, but it means alot when they hear it.

Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus. Did I mention Plato?

It's not that simple finding Love. Sometimes it sneaks up on you. In the mean time....

If you can't find Love, Love the one you're with.

Later,
bobsled.

I met this very nice and rather striking young lady in my writing class. After our final class, we went to a pub, and I shyly asked her if she would like to go out with me. She said YES! I got her phone number, waited a few days, called and she wasn't home. She called back, I wasn't home. She changed her number 6 weeks later. I called her back, she wasn't home. 18 weeks later, I'm still waiting.

18 F*cking weeks?!?!?

If she were serious, you two would have gotten together long ago. She probably change her mind but doesn't have the guts to tell you. To me it's a sign of bad character.

When I was in Vancouver this past summer, I was amazed by all the eye candy that was walking along Robson Street.

As for the question if Vancouver chicks are stuck-up...sometimes I wonder if it's a nation-wide problem? Because I've had an easier time scoring in the States and Europe.

I don't think its just the women only. I think its that people who live in large population centers are less friendly than people who live in smaller rural communities.

I was sent out of town for work to several smaller cities and I notice that people in general were much friendlier. I was impressed that the people in Calgary, Regina, and Edmonton were more easy going.

I don't know what your age group is? I have talked to many beautiful girls in their twenties. Many of them gave me the same answer that they wouldn't date any man under the age of 35 for they find young guys are immatured nor financially stable! Many of them prefer an older stable choice. In addition , some girls are too highly educated and they have difficulties to find a guy to match up with their status!

Vancouver Women Make Arctic char look like a tropical water fish! As far as the crap about dating men 35 i dont buy it! I'm 32, successful, presentable and have a couple of degrees!

Here's the deal; YVR women run around with the attitude that you have to earn the privelage of talking to her majesty regardless of the fact that she's probably a waitress with a grade 12 education and a shitty attitude!

American women (Canadian lite) are a little bit better but not by far unless you go down south and their attitudes become a lot friendlier. Just my $0.02 and I look forward to the hate mail on this one!

Talking to some women, their comments were they feel that they avoid eye contact is they get barraged by weirdos trying to pick them up and harass them in general.

It's understandable that after awhile they try to avoid any eye contact with anybody.

One of my buddies who does not seem to have any problems picking up girls, is he just smiles and be friendly, offers them a smoke, and listen to what they have to say and go from there.
Maybe one in five he gets to pick up. It's like that episode of Futurama if you ever seen it, Fry just nods his head and goes uh-huh, and the alien chick goes, I really enjoyed my conversation with you!

It just takes practice and not caring about being rejected. There are lots and lots of very attractive and talented single women out there, you should have to keep trying.

My problem...

My problem is I am educated, handsome, rich and I like to vacuum.

And most of the above is lies, except for the vacuuming.

I keep wandering the beaches for a Genie in a bottle. Hopefully it contains a female Genie.

My three wishes...(if the bottle contained the right Genie, like BF in I Dream of Genie)

Snuggle with me when it rains

Make my lunch in the morning before work ( I hate doing that).

When you're mad at me, let me give you a hug and kiss you on the cheek. Then let's go out for dinner and talk about it.

The Sun will come up in the morning and money can't buy you Love.

Later,
bobsled

Oh yeah, I should have mentioned that the last time I called her was in September, asking if she would like to go out for my birthday. Not a peep from her. I guess I could have phoned back, but i have another lady friend who takes up a lot of my time.

I'm off the pity pot:D

Hitrack, you stole my line...

Just because you become a gold miner, doesn't mean you're going to get rich quick. Like everything else in life, you have to learn the ropes, and put in your time to find the right one/ones... Ever hear of a noobie in Las Vegas get good at poker overnight? Sure Vancouver has some very attractive women, and so do most cities in this world. Getting the right one is something you have to work at... And of course, this is a highly subjective quest!

As for Vancouver women getting cold, remember they also get wet at this time of year!

I don't agree with the poster's comment about university educated women being stuck up. Almost all of my female friends and family are university educated and they are all very friendly. Perhaps it's that a lot of them are my friends from going to school together, but I don't think so. If you are getting a cold vibe from women you meet, you may be giving off the 'picking up' vibe yourself. Most women will get defensive if a stranger tries to strike up a conversation out of the blue. Now if you met that same woman that didn't give you the time of day when you met her in a bar, supermarket, or wherever, through a mutual friend and got to know her that way, you may find that she's super friendly and your chances will improve exponentially. Now, I'm not trying to pass myself off as some kind of expert on the ladies, but that's just my take on it all. Good luck, and may you all find your goddess, if you haven't already.
