ever since the switch to perb.cc, i've been getting certificate warnings periodically when browsing between forum pages and such. sometimes these can be an indicator of MITM hacks, which given the nature of the site may be something of a concern. is anyone else getting these messages, or know anything more about it?l

At first, I got that warning every time I switched threads and forums when using Internet Explorer. I got pissed off, and tried Google Chrome. It doesn't happen at all with that browser. Now, it happens only sporadically with IE. (Old habits die hard, so once in a while I forget to use Google Chrome for PERB).

Yup, me too. Lately, I've been getting the site security certificate warnings on Google Chrome for iOS. This has nothing to do with knowing how to search, it's a technical website support issue. And I doubt there would be any threads on this topic since this is a recent issue. Hence, this thread. This issue should be directed to the mods. It probably has something to do with them migrating the site from the old .com domain and servers to the new .cc one.

The site's security certificate is not trusted!
You attempted to reach perb.cc, but the server presented a certificate issued by an entity that is not trusted by Google Chrome. This may mean that the server has generated its own security credentials, which Chrome cannot rely on for identity information, or an attacker may be trying to intercept your communications.
You should not proceed, especially if you have never seen this warning before for this site.
