Nothing raised any of my red flags. He texted and called from a real phone number, was at a nice condo building in Bear Mountain, by the golf course, came down and paid for my cab when I arrived, so I figured I was set for a good call.

At a about a half hour into it, things changed up, and while I am not going into any details, I left there a couple hours later, broke in more ways than one, only to have to walk 3 miles in the rain to the nearest gas station to call a cab.

Thank you, bill c-36, for stopping me from calling the cops on this asshole.

PM me for details, ladies. I have his name, number, licence plate and, obviously, description.

Thank you for your kind words, LD. I'm still unsure as to if I want to bring that kind of attention to myself and the negative side of being an escort by making a report. Still though, 1 horrible client out of around 2000 is a pretty good run, I would have to say. Better than working at Timmy's or Walmart, for sure.

In Your Wildest Dreams!
I am really sorry to hear about what's happening in your life right now, and I hope you have people close to you looking after you now. Aside from any physical injuries he's inflicted upon you, there is emotional trauma as well. Please consider reporting the assault so that you can get all of the victim services supports you need, OK? You have been through a really traumatic event that needs trained intervention beyond the immediate medical to ensure that you heal in ALL the ways that matter. Don't even listen to any hateful voices giving you negative advice. PLEASE take care of yourself and do all you can to get through this as a strong woman. Bill C-36 isn't law yet, so what we're doing isn't punishable by law, but sexual assault and battery is...You are not a criminal, you're a victim. That doesn't mean you have to let him, or the system, keep victimising you! Does the Victoria PD have a liasion officer like Linda Malcom is for the VPD? (Or is Bear Mountain part of an RCMP jurisdiction?)

Be well and safe, OK?

That is good advice Ms. Erica.
Bill C-36 is not law yet, and as the bill is written, your activities will not be illegal in the future either. His reported behavior is however currently illegal and will be in the future. The only change that bill C-36 would have in this situation would be additional potential charges for him.

The bill however would make it more dangerous for the client in the future. If the roles were reversed, the client would have a reasonable fear of reporting since they would also be committing a crime.

This situation should not ever happen, but that unfortunately is not the world we live in. Please consider following Ms. erica's advice and make sure you get all of the support available to make your future the happiest that it can be.

Thank you to both yourself, and Ms Erica for your concern, and supportive words. :) Believe me when I say I know every line of Bill C-36, being the research queen/information collector which I tend to be. I am fully aware that I am not breaking any laws in this case, and will not be in the future either.
In the blind-rage tinted excitement which I was experiencing at the time I originally posted this story, I meant to elaborate on the reason why I held the Bill responsible for my reluctance to report. I don't hold the new Bill legally responsible, rather I blame the current hype surrounding the issue, and the media's love of blowing stories, especially those which centre around a hot-button issue, wayyyy out of proportion.
I am a quiet person, who believes almost all issues can, and should be settled at the lowest level possible. I have no interest in being further victimized by a media blitz as well.

I can certainly understand THAT. It's a really delicate balance, isn't it? I was raped by an acquaintance a week after my 16th birthday. I didn't report it to anyone, and it took a lot of years of therapy, etc to deal with a lot of the shit that got left behind in my head; I couldn't give a BJ without throwing up until I was 30 and avoided it whenever possible for a really long time. (Obviously, gents that know me; I'M ALL OVER IT NOW! It took conscious work and effort though to get beyond that to where I'm at now (as fond of going down as I am of being gone down upon!!)

Regardless of whether you choose to report to LE, please seek out whatever support people you need to get past this and back to yourself! (If you're back to yourself already, more power to you!)

You should still call the cops. They will take it very seriously and will not give you a hard time. This Bill c-36 crap is coming from the politicians and feminists and prudes. The police aren't pushing it and they know better.

I'm rarely in the position where I would say "Trust the cops". But please do it. This bastard needs to be stopped for your sake and for all the other ladies out there.

Specially when you do outcalls.....
Many SPs I know have a "CALL BUDDY"

You made it trough your 1st one.
Your 2nd might be worse.

This is horrible. I understand you may be thankful it wasn't worse and want to put it behind you, but I'd like to add to the voices saying he needs to be reported. If this guy gets away with it, he'll do it again and it could be even worse for the next person. You posted here because you want to look out for each other. Reporting it is a way of helping protect the ladies who don't see this post.

Cherry I am very sorry to hear this. While a little street justice is probably the best medicine for this creep, the most important thing is to report this to the police. I bet this is not the first time or the last time for him, and he needs to have his name attached to this even if in the end he does not get convicted. Please remember that you are the victim here and you did nothing wrong except trust.

i'm sorry to hear about this, cherry. my guess is that it is a life-changing experience for you

i can only add to the chorus of people suggesting the police, it is really the only thing that can, and should, be done

I am aware that someone near the mid Island had a terrible experience a year or so ago, and decided not to report it. Could it be the same guy? We will never know. It is most unfortunate that so many escorts have so little trust in the police that they are unwilling to report assaults. Bill C-36 will not improve the situation. Someone has suggested that the bill is designed to encourage Willie Picton types.

So sorry this happened to you but do call the police. Bill36 isn't law yet and you have nothing to worry about. This just happened to a SP in Regina Friday and the cops there were completely understanding and sympathetic to her. The cops are human and know that guys like this are far more harmful to society than any moral bullshit the new law will try to address. We can only hope that they get this guy locked up in a the big house with some mofo who makes him his bitch. Karma.

Back to you, I wish you well Cherry. To all you ladies, stay safe and be well.

Cherry, sorry to read this happened. Your healing is very important and the advice that Erica and others have given is good.
Your desire to stay low-key and not involve LE is totally understandable, but reporting this could save another lady from going through the same or worse. You have enough details that they should be able to track this creep down.
Stay safe, get the support you need, and heal well...

FWIW Cherry, I too urge you to go to Westshore RCMP about this.

Put that piece of garbage through the ringer and maybe he'll be discouraged from trying it again.

Take care! WS.
