About as biased as possible. A lot of false statements too.

FYI I left what I thought was a reasoned and restrained counter argument in the comments. It hasn't shown up and the only comment that has is supportive. So, likely no rebuttals will pass moderation there.

She starts out with an unbiased aproch to explain some missconseption
1. I agree most women in thd business do not like working or enjoy what they are doing.. they feel degraded and it cause other self esteem issues too
Those that do like it . Are good at what they do and do it well ..

2 then right a way in number 2 she show her true colors of miss information
.ok so prostitutes are allowed to work in Sweden clients can t buy sex.

Then her whole focuSe changes and it how the law fixe's the problem the court addressed..but prostitution is inherently dangerous so it best that we protect them ftom them selves and the abusive.. degrading nature of the clients that use their services.... But the girls are free to work ftom their own incall location.. and advertis on Internet. . Well they are not allowed to advertise on the internet in a public form .. maybe a privet membars only site.

And then she go off on how it good that the client will be prosecuted for paying for the legal services ..offered freely by the women..
The law will make there lives so much better when it forces them out of prostitution .
How about when it pushes it all underground .

Admittedly .. maybe this lawyer has represented may of the victim .of prostitution .know the bad side of prostitution and thinks of all women as victims .and thinks it as easy as making laws and prosecutING john's to stop .it all.. but she should be honest and see how so much abuss .. drug use and assaults of women has nothing to do with prostitution or there clients.. Most women are victimized by a spouse .. boy friend.. or stocked..and targeted..

And weather use or used drugs.. or whether they were sexually abused. .or come from foster care. Or divorced families.. The majority of women that experience that do not go into prostitution..
No matter how you look at the society and families protection act.. it misses the point of doing what it states..

Prostitution is a minor part if a larger problew. . And just constraining on its effects..and presumed remedies .will not make most women lives better. If fact I see them diverting resources away from existing programs.. to constraint funding in the prosecution and reablilation of sex workers and johis. .

Also they don't seem to realize that every one gets their day in court.. and pleading not guilty to buying sex.. can trigger any number of defense sinario. . Must ot able would be " I have a sex attiction. .or I was sexually abused ..and I need help.." at which point now the courts and system has to be in place to offer that help.. which is just as lagitamate ..cause as victimizing of women..

WHERE ARE ALL THE RESOURCES GOING TO COME FROM.???
It going to hurt offer program and set every thing they were hoping to accomplish with this narrow focus
Back to the stoneage. .

How nieve of her..

Check your closet..:)
It's all bullshit, the only thing the government has actually done so far is take funding away from prostitution resource centers. Based on that, everything they say is a lie. Their actions go against everything they say they want to fix.
