@the Meat Market!!!lol
i got a couple reports about this guy and was phoned myself!!

he sounds drunk and when you try to tell him the rates or engage in converstaion with you he goes off and starts calling you names, threatening and being generally speaking a nasty bastard.

he's done this through the years sporadically, off and on and has been at it again since saturday/ sunday.

it can be upsetting to be berated and degraded in this way especially if you don't realize he's doing it to alot of workers, not just you.

so this is a warning to not answer any calls from 604-9**-1874.

for the full number, pm me. we also googled the number and his full name and address showed up. not the brightest candle.

this is an example of a hate crime against sex workers. this is violence directed not just at one but at us all as a group. i have reported it to police and have been assured that he will be receiving a visit. for anyone else who received calls from this guy during this most recent outburst, just know, it wasn't personal. it was hateful.

love susi

Many of us keep notes on this stuff so just a reminder that there was a warning on ESRList about this guy back in January 2013; this is clearly his long-term MO, ladies (mental health challenge, possibly?)

Something one can never pinpoint
What is the best way to deal with those that harrass via email? Is there any way to expose these jerks without opening oneself up to more abuse?

Dear Susi
And everybody else

Another way to deal with it is...
First of all when i answer a call, i will be able to tell when somebody is drunk by talking a few words, when i notice that or even an unplesent voice on the other side, i usually answer back, im very sorry but im very busy right now, thank you for your call, bye.
Then i mark the number, save it and will never pick up the phone again if I see that number coming up.
Eventually that person will give up. I know that I will never give up picking up my fone for that number if i see it on my call display again.
Don't ever be rude to them, just be polite as hard it is and be very short. The shorter you are the less they can make you upset, this way its not going to ruin it for the next nice guy.

Secondly, if you get an email like that, just simply ignore it like you never got it.

In my past carrier, i can say that i followed that and i always had a happy day.
Well, mostly :)

@the Meat Market!!!lol
this gentleman had a visit from 3 police officers who explained to him that what he was doing was illegal. he seemed surprised that the police were called or even listened to sex worker complaints and was instructed that, as i have said many times, that time is over.

police in BC especially the lower mainland will no longer be ignoring complaints from sex workers and will be treating us fairly and with dignity. anyone who believes they can harass or harm sex workers with no reprecussions is in for a rude awakening...as this gentleman received.

he is now known to police for his behaviour and any further harassment on his part will constitute violation of his agreement to stop. so if anyone receives even one more phone call from this guy, please report it to me.

i am not one for making examples of people but it seems like its required in some cases.

let this be a warning, we will not be taking any shit any more. if you harm a sex worker , you will face the law.
