I,m getting rid of the old wooden sled bed and good but too soft mattress.
Am wanting a whole new bedroom queen size set ,
so many mattresses out there now and am wondering if anyone has a good experience with memory foam?
I heard they get real hot , and i,m a hot burning bod so need something other than my ex to keep it cool.
I thought this site may have some specialists .:eyebrows:

I have a memory foam
For my back it has been the best I flip it some times and sleep on the foam side ..

I did not by an expensive one In fact i have bought two each cost about $500 warrantied for 10 yr i have not found any different from the ones you pay $1500 /$2000 for You can get them at Costco or Walmart for $500 all the really are is a big block of foam with 3" of memory foam on one side .

In the more expensive brands I see they adverts some new cool foam i have not tried one .. But yes the memory foam are warm I like it that way ..Other people i know just sleep in the nude to keep cool.

I would suggest a memory foam TOPPED mattress if anything. I have a pillow top queen that I got a memory foam topper for and yeah, I could live in this thing.
what she said, I agreee. Same setup and I LOVE my bed

Not a fan of the memory foam, to be honest... if I could have my way, I'd get a waterbed again...

If you have the money to spend go with a Sterns & Foster.. They are the Rolls Royce of beds and one of the best investments I've made!

I do have a memory foam with a pillow top. Costs about $2500 but worth it.
I sleep in the buff, so don't worry about overheating.

I can't speak to a foam mattress as I have a pillow top and love it but I use a memory foam pillow and it is hot but good for my neck.

i,m confuuuuuusssssed ,
some say mattress with a memory foam on top , other says foam mattress, so whats this pillow top thingy?
I blew my back out (disc) last month and soft mattresses dont work for me anymore.
How thick are these when complete? same as a regular mattress?
my back and comfort is important so i will spend what it takes to get a good nights sleep in comfort.
Too bad you could not sleep on them for a night to try them out.... important piece of lifes equipment.

Memory foam makes me sweat so I need a natural fibre to wick away moisture. I got a Dux bed years ago and still think its the best furniture investment I have ever made. Pricey, yes but worth it IMHO.

Otherwise, this new series of Ikea beds seem to be pretty damn good. They have these toppers which are almost like the Dux toppers.

Yah diffidently does not give you any rebound or giggle to make F**king easier

But then neither does furniture, tables , floors or counters or the log on the beach ..

Beds are for sleeping in not sex like so many people insist on doing LOL

Tempurpedic mattress sits on a regular boxspring, accompanied by tempurpedic pillows.... bought it five years ago and no back pain at all.
As comfortable as it gets; I have never fouind it hot. Body shaping with support where you need it. Always a good night's sleep.

As for f**king, you have to work it a bit more, but, ha ha, then the positions get a bit more inventive.
