As you know, Canucks are playing against Bruins today. A friend who is a Bruins fan want to make a bet on this game against me. Since Bruins are playing great, he will give me 3 scores. Should I take this bet, which is $500?

I would take that bet as it is a good one.....if the Bruins play as well as they did against the Flames you will be $500 poorer as I doubt the Canucks will get 6 pucks past Thomas.

I still cant believe that slaughter....9-0...I think the Flames players want to get the coach fired.

Game has had it all so far. Brawls with players given misconducts, beautiful goals, inconsistent refereeing, penalty shot and that little douchebag Marchand submarining Salo. Scheids has been pretty steady in net with a few miscues by D men leaving him alone.

Anytime someone gives you three goals in hockey, take it.
However, people that do make silly offers like that, generally dont like paying up.

$500 and spotted him 3 Goals

all I can think of his friend was trying to make him back down from the bet by being so grandiose.

We will take the two points, thanks!

PowerPlay was the key in this win...made them pay by scoring goals unlike last years playoffs...bostons toughguy back fired & Canucks not intimidated by their games

Apparantly , they are thinking of handing out soothers to canucks fans at their arena to lessen the chance of destroying their own city. A very wise decision.

I just hope Salo isn't hurt too bad. But it was a game that was fun to watch.
Upper body for Salo, no time frame yet, but probably not short. Broken collarbone for Ebbet, he's done for the season. Colarbones are long term pain. Tough break for him

Kinda like last year when the Bruins bitch slapped your team IN VANCOUVER in the Game #7 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Which game was more important? LOL
More like Vancouver seeing as they won. When's the parade on Robson for winning ONE measly game? You Canuck fans are so fucking pathetic.
Fucking troll.

What I found most interesting is how Boston is able to prevent Vancouver from playing it's game. Most of Vancouver's skill gets shut down. The amount of turnovers was pretty telling.

It was a gritty win with good goaltending but I would still give Boston the series in a best of seven. I think Vigneault should start thinking of ways to deal with a team of physical size that's always in your face.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Salo will be out 5 to 10 games with a should injury.

So what I found interesting is we scored on our PP goals.

In the last three games of the finals the refereeing was shall we say 'non existent' which meant the Bruins could speedbag our players at will. In regular season they call most penalties. In playoffs, they hardly call anything. Its my biggest complaint about the NHL.
