I realize this seems like a really strange request for this board but we have members from all walks of life and I thought why not give it a shot. Besides this is an anonymous board so I figured if someone was able to help me out this might be the way to do it.
I'm not going to get into the details publically except to say it involves someone whose been making threats against me (business deal gone bad) and using the HA's name. I know its not true and he's full of shit but I'd love to turn the tables on him. I'd just pass his name and address along to them and let them know he's running around town telling anyone who'll listen he's connected and using their name when and where they probably don't want it used.
PM me if you have something to offer.

Just stop by the local clubhouse and give them the details.

See if you can get the media to do it free for you. They like pictures, so if you have a few bring them along. Alternatively, just use the picture in an Ad. You are correct, the HA doesn't like people using their name. Nor do the Los Bravos, which is the feeder club in Winterpeg.
I don't believe the Los Bravos exist as a separate entity any more, al. They were merged into the Angels more than a decade ago and at least one LB who opposed the merger, a former client of the accounting firm I used to work for, was murdered execution-style in Dartmouth, NS in order to send a message to anyone else in LB who was considering voicing his opposition to the merger.

You know I actually thought about that but don't want to intrude. I learned one thing growing up in the North End. Mind your own business and don't go where you probably aren't welcome.
In this case, if you're low-key enough, they probably won't mind.

HA are extremely protective against any kind of attention, outside those annual 'rides' that get the media going.

I would make damn sure that he is not a prospect or hang around before you do anything.

How do you know he isn’t one? Better be dam sure as they don’t all wear jeans and leathers. He could even have a sibling or cousin who is a HA and thinks all he has to do is say the word to them. I have known police to go and warn people who have made claims to be tied to the organization. The police might want to have a talk with him after all that is a threat he is making to you which is a criminal offense. They might want his claims to the HA’s on file.

Wilde brings up a great point.

Vast majority of HA nowadays are very low-key and you'd never know they were members.

While I thought of that for a nanosecond I quickly dismissed it. Then I thought that maybe he has a relative who is connected or even knows someone in the ZigZag Crew (here in Wpg, they are low levels thugs who do the HA's dirty work).
It all comes back to his public bragging in front of 2 of my employees and another person. Anybody who knows shit about how the HA's conduct themselves or is in anyway associated with them would never do that.

Even if he was a prospect or a hang around, until he's full patch he's got no claim to fame. If he's shooting off at the mouth they'll stomp his ass just as quick, if not quicker then some civilian.

I would agree that even if he does have some association, they would not want him coming into your business and shooting his mouth off dropping their name. But I would tread very carefully before you take any kind of action. Good luck resolving the issue!

right behind you!
Using their logo name is HUGE NO NO!!
I heard a funny story about that once Not sure if it's true but......

In a taxi cab, on it's way to the airport, a guy who was a member lets call him "Larry" decided he wanted to get out of this lifestyle for whatever reason, gave his jacket to the Taxi driver he just met "lets call him "Terry"...... When Larry gave Terry the jacket he also warned Terry never to wear it in public..... .......

later that day....

Terry, takes the jacket home, and is all happy he has a collector's item... Well later that night he takes his wife out for dinner and a movie, and leaves the jacket on the back a chair in his kitchen. A few hours later when he returns home, the jacket is now gone!!!!!! seems there is a big elastic band on those jackets! or a GPS device! In the end nobody knows what happen to Larry, but Terry still can't figure out how they found him/took the jacket back.
