I would like to know if canker sores are transmittable to others. Would I be at risk of contracting STDs or other diseases from kissing or performing cunnilingus?
Hi toesucker
You cannot spread canker sores to other people.
Here is some good information from Healthlink BC about canker sores.

Oral sex on a woman:
The STI risks for the person performing oral sex on a woman include herpes, syphilis and possibly hepatitis B. Even if a woman had chlamydia or gonorrhea it would be difficult to pass these infections to the throat of the person performing oral sex.
The risk of getting HIV is considered extremely low. STI’s such as herpes or syphilis can increase the risk of HIV.
Using a barrier like a dental dam would reduce this risk.

Kissing:
There are a number of infections that can spread from kissing such as the common cold, mononucleosis etc. The infections that could pass by kissing and are also classified as sexually transmitted are herpes, syphilis and hepatitis B.
Given your situation we would recommend the hepatitis B vaccine.
